2018 4th Puli Car-Free Day - March 24: Little Ones Forward
2013: Building the Double B Town (Bike and Butterfly)
2014: Cycling for Old Trees, Jogging for Peace of Mind
2015: Breathe Freely, Let the Road Be Free
Every year on Car-Free Day, we make a wish to make Puli a better place. I remember that when I was a child, there were always crossing guards leading us home. But I don't know when it started, our children are almost always picked up right at the school gate, with very few having the experience of walking home on their own. However, if we carefully observe the current street conditions in Puli—illegal parking, blocked arcades, lack of vendor management, and shops occupying sidewalks—all of these turn the streets into an obstacle course for Puli's children. Therefore, for the 4th Puli Car-Free Day in 2018, our theme is "Little Ones Forward." We aim to help Puli's children develop a sense of road rights from a young age and hope that the government will take children's road rights seriously.
To organize this event, we started planning half a year in advance. We boldly applied to the town office to close off the four sides of the administrative park. We prepared for the children to play freely on the road. In fact, as long as the government plans well, the sidewalks and arcades alongside the roads can also be friendly walking routes for children to enjoy.
