2017 Puli Mountain Town Party Marathon
2017 Puli Mountain Town Party Marathon (03/12)
To promote nationwide fitness and implement the government’s initiative to build a sports island, this event integrates local Puli industries, connects renowned tourist attractions, and revitalizes local rural characteristics. By linking Puli’s agricultural specialties, tourism, and cultural heritage with marathon running, we aim to market Puli’s unique charm. Runners coming to Puli will do more than just run a marathon; they will experience every facet of Puli’s vitality, enjoying a feast of scenery, cuisine, and culture. Puli’s most famous product is water. This year’s theme focuses on sensory and visual enjoyment inspired by water, allowing runners to feel the boundless energy and passion of Puli, flowing freely like water.
Local gourmet refreshments provide strong support: mellow Puli spring water, radish soup, arrowhead stems, passion fruit juice, Shaoxing sausages, Shaoxing wine eggs, rose tea, sugarcane juice, honey tea, stir-fried rice noodles, and 18°C chocolate……
A grand tour of tourist attractions: Dili Center Monument, Paragliding Platform, Lihu Lake, Zhengde Buddha, Zhongtai Mountain Temple, Zhongtai World Museum, Puli Takeshi Kaneshiro Tree, Guangxing Paper Mill, Ailan Terrace, Philosophy Trail, Breeze Bicycle Path, Shunqi Nature Bicycle Path, Puli Dimu Temple……
A special “Regret Prize” is added for the full marathon. Puli’s beautiful mountains, clear waters, and stunning scenery might tempt runners to linger and forget the time, delaying their finish. Not only is the cutoff time extended, but a “Regret Prize” is also introduced for the full marathon category, offering encouragement and a 50% discount on registration for the next event.
Runners enjoy numerous benefits, including access to the garden party, tourist attractions, and transportation discounts…… The concept is that your bib number serves as a discount voucher. Detailed benefits will be announced at partner stores.
